Homegroups
We want to continue to meet for food, fellowship and Bible study throughout the year, starting in October. If you are interested in joining or hosting a home group this semester, please get in touch with Brendan, Katie, Ravi or Roshni.
M&M's Music
It’s great to have more musicians join our Sunday worship team! We are planning a jam session in the coming weeks for all those who are involved (or interested in becoming involved) in leading musical worship.
Please talk to Sarah-Jane, Katie or Bram if you are interested.
The M&M's choir will be starting again with a 'Come and Sing Evensong' workshop on 8 October at the JLC. Come and learn beautiful music from 14:30-17:30, for a service at 18:30. You can read more about the Anglican tradition of evensong in these notes, written by our choir director, Toby Wardman.
Contact Toby for more information about the M&M's choir.
M&M's Library Box
A message from Tatiana about our library box:
"As some of you have heard, our library box with most of its books was lost in the fire at the Pauscollege in July. However, we would love to develop a new collection of books that would benefit our community and spiritual lives. If you have borrowed any books from the M&M's Library Box, please return them to Tatiana.
We are also refreshing the library in preparation for a new term. Please also speak to Tatiana, either in person or via the M&Ms email, if you have Christian books in good condition that you would like to donate. We are looking for books related to Anglicanism, theology, spirituality, and Christian life. Here is a sample of the books we purchased for our library box last year."
Green Corner
This week we hear from our Environmental Officer, Mathias Weik:
Dear Friends,
After a summer break, M&M’s Green Corner is back in time for the season of Creation Tide.
During this time of the year, I always greatly enjoy the prayers, liturgy, and messages that challenge and remind us of the urgency of taking care of God’s creation. One aspect of this caring for creation, which has become somewhat of a buzzword over the last few years, is sustainability – finding ways to use the resources of our planet in ways that have less impact on natural resources, the climate, and the people around us in order to ensure a future for our common home. I am sure many of you are familiar with the concept.
Recently I have come across an interesting article about the most common misconceptions about sustainability and I would like to share it with you. I hope you find it as interesting and helpful as I did!

See you soon!
Mathias

If you come on Sundays, you will notice that we do take a collection. However, it is much easier for us if you are able to give online. We are very grateful to those who give regularly and so generously.
