In 2025, your Church Council set up a vzw The Friends of St Martha and St Mary Leuven. The vzw manages funds for mission, ministry and outreach: coffee and chocolate after church, welcome and newcomers’ events, pizza nights, Alpha courses, retreats, mission giving to good causes and potential future staff costs. The board of the vzw are Sarah Jones (Chair); Andrew Wiersum (Treasurer); and Rebecca Breekveldt (Secretary). The vzw has its own bank account. If you would like to support the growing ministry and mission of M&Ms, please give to BE88 1036 0405 5141.
The old bank account (BE78 1030 8061 8586) belonging to the kerkraad, still exists. It manages the expenses for Sunday church: rent, wafers and wine, printing. The collection during the service goes to the kerkraad, and we hope to apply for funds from Stad Leuven towards these costs as well.
