What to Expect

I Am New

St. Martha and St. Mary's is a learning, welcoming, theologically-open parish of the Anglican Communion. Everyone — Anglican and non-Anglican, enquirer, sceptic — looking for a home away from home is warmly invited to be part of our community.

We meet for services of Holy Communion in two chapels of the Catholic University of Leuven. On 2,3,4,&5 Sundays we meet at 18:30 in the Justus Lipsius College Chapel. On the first Sunday of the month our service is at 10:00 in the American College Chapel. Our style of worship is a mixture of modern and traditional. Feel free to visit our homegroup and various social events.

Style Of Service

St. Martha and St. Mary's is attended by expats, Leuven residents, and students from KU Leuven and ETF Leuven. Dutch and English translations of the order of service are provided. We enjoy a variety of musical styles, a tradition of intellectual preaching and warm fellowship. Our service is followed by coffee.

M&Ms also worships with the Roman Catholic community at Justus Lipsius College each year on Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and for an Advent carol service. These ecumenical services are a high point in our year.
