Our Priest: Rev. dr. Jack McDonald
The priest-in-charge of M&Ms since 2011 is the Revd Canon Prof Jack McDonald. Jack was born in 1966 in Lancashire and brought up in Yorkshire. He is a qualified schoolteacher in the UK and a qualified university lecturer in France. He was ordained an Anglican priest in 1993 and worked on a housing estate in South London for his first parish. He then had wide leadership experience in church and education, as a Cambridge University dean and proctor, as a headmaster, and as the minister of the French Reformed cathedral in Metz (a post possible following the Reuilly Accords between Anglicans and French Protestants). He combines his pastoral work at M&Ms with duties as canon theologian at Holy Trinity Pro-Cathedral Brussels, as a bishops' inspector for ministerial training in the Ministry Division of the Church of England, as professor of church history at FUTP Bruxelles-FPG Brussel and as visiting professor of Anglicanism in KU Leuven. He is also the president of the Central Committee of the Anglican Church in Belgium.
